New 2020 CI Model Night in Santa Barbara

Before doors opened at 6:30 pm, there was a line around the block about 100 people deep. Those folks, and the few hundred more behind them, came to see our two new models for 2020 that draw two very different lines: the FishBeard and CI Mid. Among the faces that filled our Santa Barbara Surf Shop to get their first glance at these beauties, was our team riders like Dane Gudauskas, Alex Gray, Dane Reynolds, Tanner Gudauskas, Conner Coffin, Cory Arrambide and more. As well as surfers Parker Coffin and Devon Howard, who both worked closely on these models with CI Shaper Britt Merrick, Mike Andrews, and Mike Walter.

As people filled the space in our shop’s backyard, they enjoyed Made West beer and Ziobaffa wine with their pizza slices as we shared a few short films on the FishBeard and CI Mid. Following the film, we did a Q&A to cover more in-depth questions about the boards and finished up with a raffle where the winner had the choice of either model and decided to go with the Mid!
