The Consumer Sales Associate is responsible for providing the ultimate in customer service and managing relationships with surfers of all skill levels.
Job Summary
The Consumer Sales Associate supports the daily operations of the company’s online store, ensuring products are delivered accurately and quickly to the customers, sales goals are consistently met, and customer inquiries are handled promptly.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about online retail, detail oriented, focused on delivering excellent customer service and of course surfboard knowledge is a plus!
Key responsibilities
Support daily operations of Ecommerce orders, including processing orders, product updates, and creating sales orders to be sent down to our warehouse.
Assist customers via email, phone, and Livechat to get them dialed with the best products and ensure a positive online shopping experience.
Stay informed on newest models and accessories to better assist customers.
Assist customers with board recommendations based off their weight and skill level.
Cross train in all areas of customer and dealer service.
Requirements:
Surfboard knowledge a must, preferably with CI boards.
Excellent communication/customer service skills both by phone and email.
Team player with high standard for quality of work and a “can do” attitude.
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload.
College degree and/or 2 years related experience.
Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
Shopify experience is a plus.

The Breakdown:
The Key Holder is a vital Channel Islands Surfboards team member, responsible for assisting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. The Key Holder will open and close the store according to company procedures, including cash handling, security checks and alarm systems, maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment as well as assist with merchandise displays, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
