Winter 4 Water

9 year old Australian Channel Islands team rider and Waves for Water ambassador Winter Vincent traveled to the Mentawai Islands in October 2014 to partnership with Kandui Villas and implement 50 water filtration systems, providing clean water for up to 5,000 inhabitants. This project was coordinated by Christian Driggs, Global Project Manager for Waves for Water. The clean water systems were paid for by funds raised by Winter and the students of Manly Village Public School. The project germinated from a speech given by Winter titled “Kids can make a difference”. That speech certainly changed Winter and his family and we hope it touches you too!
