The QUEEN Awakens

It’s been a tough few months for the 805. With all the havoc caused from the Thomas fire and mudslides that followed, the sight of our first real winter swells were beyond needed. Even with the water being as dirty as it is, you couldn’t stop the wave-starved crew from entering the toxic ocean. With the 101 freeway blocked at Montecito, in both directions, the majority of the crowd were from Carpinteria, Ventura, or further south. Lakey and Sage were stand outs, as well as the Guduaskas brothers…

The majority of the team opted for their favorite FEVER dims, which is a great all-around-shortboard that handles just about any condition thrown at you. Including high and low tide rincon….
