Surfing Magazine's "Field Test" with the Twin Fin
SURFING IS MEANT TO BE FUN, and here at SURFING we’re here to help. We realized there isn’t an unbiased bridge between the many surfboard brands and you. So we decided to build one.
Because until Slater’s waveparks start popping up all over America, most surfers in the United States settle for mediocre surf more often than not, especially during the summer. Slow. Soft. Small. So it’s crucial that the foam under your feet allows you to properly make the most out of every lunch surf and windy evening session. And more than that, it’s important to own a board you can actually perform on.
Which is why we picked four newly developed high performance small-wave models from four well-known shapers and sent one of our editors, Dayton Silva (who happens to surf at a nearly professional level), to the beach to spend some quality time with them and report back on how they all worked. These are all stock boards. No extra bells and whistles. And all of these models are now available in your local surf shop.
