“My friend Hunter and I started filming this winter around California whenever I was home; we wanted to make a little California edit,” says Andrew. “I was focusing on filming for the new Vissla movie Dream Steeple but Hunter really wanted to make something with everything he shot that hadn’t been used. I had some Indo clips and Hawaii clips from this year and we just decided to put it together and see how it would turn out.”

“We lost a hard drive full of clips,” he continues. “That sucked. There was one session in Oxnard where I did a straight air to reverse (5:30). It was one of my best sessions. We lost the clip; the quality’s sketchy because it was filmed off the back of the camera from my phone,” he laughs. “Obviously the surfing needs to do the talking but Hunter did a great job piecing it together and keeping it entertaining.”
